Choosing The Best Lighter Fluid For Lighting Your Cigars

Cigarette lighters have a very long evolutionary history. A few centuries back, smokers had to use modified flintlock pistols loaded with gunpowder to light  cigarettes. Due to technological advancements, modern lighters use lighter fluid which is more convenient and efficient as compared to gunpowder loaded flintlock pistols. The changes made on cigarette lighters over the years have been brought about by the ever increasing desire for a quick light.
Naptha, some kind of hydrocarbon, was originally used as lighter fluid but it was later made obsolete by the discovery of Butane which is more flammable, colorless and more convenient compared to Naptha.

Anyone who enjoys quality cigars and fine pipe tobacco understand and appreciate the benefit of using Butane fluids. This is because Butane is odorless and has no tainted taste associated with Naptha. Lighter fluid is famous for producing a hot controllable flame and is prized for its efficiency and reliability.

There are a number of places where lighter fluids can be obtained. These are; smoke shops, the internet and retail stores. While it is convenient to pick up an inexpensive Butane lighter, some people prefer using reliable, sturdy lighters which can be refilled when the Butane supply is diminished. Butane is commonly purchased in either 12 ounce or 2 ounce containers and is inexpensive to purchase. In most instances, it may cost more to ship than to buy the container full of Butane.

Lighter fluid is not exclusively used by smokers, plumbers use butane lighters when they need to solder pipes. Lighters are also used in the kitchen to light gas cookers and candles. Chefs  also use a blowtorch when making some types of desserts. Lighter  fluid is useful in most areas of life and is also environmentally safe.
